One of my favorite reason why I love Jersey City so much is the diversity of people this town has and all their artistic creations whether it's art, music, theater, food! Every year I look forward to the Art Crawl, which I compare to as an Adult Tick-or-Treat where you wander gallery to gallery looking a art, sipping some wine, and meeting the brilliant people behind the creations :)

A gorgeous Fall day to take in some art and some fresh air
Mana Contemporary /
A great little escape in Jersey City took us to Mana Contemporary Museum in this enchanted yet desolate warehouse area. The space combines exhibits and artist residence studios in which you can observe their work of art while they’re creating right next to you. With this being free to the public and a hidden gem, you can roam freely through the vast openness of the multi-floored warehouse.
Art on Paper Exhibit /
A few shots from the ART ON PAPER exhibit and some of the wild manipulations these artists created out of paper :)
NODA /
New Year, new discovery. This new year's, we went down to Charlotte, NC to visit a friend who lives in, NODA, an artsy community combining artists and young professionals. I have never eaten so many biscuits and gravy and wings in my entire life, but man, was it worth it! :)
FREEDOM PARK
Arts & Antiques in Portland /
Portland has a vast assortment of art and sculpture in and around neighboring towns. From pieces of the Berlin Wall, painted murals, and conversational sculptures, there's something for everyone here.
And with treasures untold, you could spend the whole weekend antiquing....just remember to bring the Uhaul :)
....my favorite, bottom right: The silk printed menu for one of the first vessels to arrive in the new country....truly incredible!!!!
Grounds for Sculpture /
On a weekend getaway, on the last of Summer Friday's of 2015, I got the opportunity to discover The Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, New Jersey. With the highly manicured lawns and larger than life sculptures ranging from realistic to abstract, one could get lost for hours in this place. Thankfully if was a gorgeous day outside, and we did just that! :)
